Top 10 Mind-Blowing Ramonescore Bands


Ramonescore often characterized as "Ramones-Style" Punk Rock. It has been my favorite for the past years and my Band also plays this kind of genre. With hundreds of Ramonescore bands,records,and songs its really hard to narrow it down because i love listening to almost all of them, But still there are a few bands i keep listening to and which i consider as my "Favorites".

These are my Top 10 "Mind Blowing" Ramonescore Bands


#10. THE LILLINGTONS
 Combining Sci-Fi Lyrics with Three Chord Pop-Punk, This
Wyoming trio released records on Ben Weasel's Panic Button Label before disbanding in 2001.

#9. THE MANGES

Italian Pop-Punk Band formed in 2003, a band closely associated with the Queers. They had recorded a split album with them called " Acid Beaters" (These is where we got our name for our Band.)
With War,Cinema,Crime and rock references and Radical Ramones Monkeys.

#8. RIVERDALES
  
A Super-Group feat. Screeching Weasel's vocalist Ben Weasel and Dan Vapid of The Queers. The original run lasted from 1994-1997, but again was reformed back in 2009. in 2011 the band broke up after a fight during Screeching Weasel's Performance.

 #7. THE LEFTOVERS

a band from Portland, formed in 2002. They are famous for their EP entitled "Mitton Street", their 2004 album "Stop,Drop,Rock n' Roll, 2006 Album "Party Tonight" and their 2007 album "On the Move".

#6. THE SHECKIES

A band from Cape May,New jersey. Formed in 2004, Their music is noted for simplicity, brevity,high energy and fun lyrics.

#5. JOHNIE 3

Highly Addictive, raw, energetic and catchy sing along tunes. The Johnie 3 has been stable in the underground Pop-punk scene thanks to their constant touring.

#4. TEENAGE BOTTLEROCKET


The band was formed by twin brothers Ray and Brandon Carlisle, following the dissolution of their previous band, Homeless Wonders, in 2000. They are one of the hottest "Ramonescore/Pop-Punk" scene right now.

 #3. SCREECHING WEASEL

Screeching Weasel hails from the suburbs of Chicago and was formed in 1986 by then-teenagers Ben Foster and John Pierson (ben weasel and jughead). They were famous for impressive catalogs; records like Boogadaboogadaboogada, Anthem For A New Tomorrow, and the tremendously influential My Brain Hurts. They are known for their  buzzsaw guitars, double-time beats, antagonistic lyrics, and snotty melodies.

#2. HUNTINGTONS 

a band from baltimore,maryland. they were formed in 1993-1994 by Cliff Powell (cliffy huntington),mike holt (Mikey huntington) and Mike pierce (Mikee huntington). Embracing their ramones-core roots, they recorded "FIle under the ramones"  in 1999, an album of 20 cover songs from The Ramones.

#1. THE QUEERS 

And my no.1 in my list is The Queers, One of the most influential Ramones-Core/Pop-Punk band.  The Queers a band formed in 1982 in New Hampshire by Joe King (aka Joe Queer) along with Scott Gildersleeve (aka Tulu), and Jack Hayes (aka Wimpy Rutherford). Lyrics of their songs Like the Ramones, 
Focuses on Girls,Drugs, Alcohol and having fun!

I'd also mention The Hextalls, The Apers, Groovie Ghoulies (as mentioned above) as top ten contenders plus others who aren't - Chixdiggit, Sonic Dolls. Kobanes, Highschool Dropouts, The Invalids, The Steinways, Spazzys, The 20 Belows, Darlington,
    early Donnas, The Beatnik Termites, Squirtgun... it goes on and on
